Narrow Escape Rooms was honoured to be a sponsor the 2022 Business Challenge Trivia Night to raise funds for Police Citizens Youth Club (PCYC). The event was held at the Penrith Bowling & Recreation Club.
“PCYC Penrith is your local sport and recreational facility, located in the heart of the CBD. As a not-for-profit organisation, they believe in giving back to the community through a range of youth and community activities. They focus on empowering young people to be the best that they can be through personal development programs in close partnership with NSW Police Youth and Crime Prevention Command”.
The Narrow Escape Rooms team attended the trivia night for our own team building, our table of 8 had a mixture of ages, backgrounds and what we thought was a pretty good range of general knowledge.
There was 8 rounds including topics such as Sport, Penrith and Entertainment with some mini-games such as heads and tales, name that logo and last table standing.
We were able to buy answers (we bought a few!) and raffle tickets. We scored a raffle prize which included cupcakes from Mrs C’s Cupcakes and a voucher to Screaming Beans Coffee Bar!
We shared some yummy platters for dinner – hot food and a cheese platter and enjoyed each other’s company.
It was good to see come other local businesses hosting a table and having some fun raising money for PCYC.
The Narrow Escape Rooms team gave it our best, had a few laughs but still came in last taking home the wooden spoon.
Even though we didn’t win, we had a great time together eating food, racking our brains for trivia answers or trying to overhear correct answers from our neighbours. We look forward to the next one! Thanks to the Penrith CBD Corporation for hosting.
