This our most difficult game, designed for adults who have played Escape Rooms before, but can be played by beginners, with children 12+ in a family group or 16+ without an adult. The Inheritance is NOT suitable for children's parties
Bring your reading glasses and a sense of curiosity!
• At least one player (preferably two) will need to be able to kneel, crouch or sit on the ground for a few minutes
• We can provide a slightly modified game for any deaf or hard or hearing players, please let us know in the notes if this applies so we can have this ready
• We are located on the 1st floor with only stair access
• There are chairs in the game if any player needs to rest

“The Inheritance” Escape Room is located at Narrow Escape Rooms Penrith.
Our address is Suite 4, 2 Castlereagh St, Penrith. We are located in Surveyors house up the street from Penrith RSL above Mrs Cs Cupcakes. The entry door is between Mrs Cs Cupcakes and Witten Partners. If you are arriving outside of normal business hours, press the intercom to the right of the door to be buzzed in. Once you are in the foyer, head up the stairs and Narrow Escape Rooms is on your right.
There is parking in the surrounding streets (check signs for time limits) and in the public carpark in Masters Place (2 hour parking limit – 8.30-6pm Mon-Fri, 8.30am to 4.30pm Sat)
Narrow Escape Rooms is a short 12 minute walk from Penrith Station.

You will have one hour to find Aunt May’s last will and testament at Narrow Escape Rooms. We ask groups to arrive 15 minutes prior to their allotted start time for our pre-game rules and instructions. We allow 10minutes overtime (assuming your team started on time) and some time for a post-game photo shoot and debrief if you’d like.
You should allow 1.5 hours for your escape room experience.
We have rated the game 5 out of 5 in terms of difficulty. This is our most difficult escape room designed with escape room enthusiasts and larger groups in mind. The success rate is 35%.
If you have children with you, we recommend you play both of our other escape rooms – Launch and Undetected before you tackle the complexity of The Inheritance. The Inheritance can be played with children 12+ in a family group or 16+ without an adult.
The Inheritance can accommodate 2 to 6 people, if your group is larger than 6, consider booking more than one game at similar time slots.
If your group size is larger than 18, consider booking back to back sessions.

No, the only people in the room will be the people you bring with you. We don’t add strangers to your group and there is no one in the escape room to scare you in any way.
Your team will have a friendly and dedicated game master that will monitor your team via CCTV. This premium service allows our game masters to give tailored clues specific to your team to ensure you have a fun and enjoyable game.
You are welcome to come dressed however you like, we recommend comfortable clothing.

We love having a local escape room company who are not only so close, but are SO good! We have completed Inheritance and Launch as a family of four, and have really enjoyed the flow of the rooms, the puzzles, the opportunities for teamwork and those ‘aha’ moments. After completing over 80 rooms as a team, Inheritance is in our top 5. We can’t wait to try out the new room soon, as we’re sure it will be just as excellent!
Incredible experience that has been so well thought out. My husband and I have done a stack of rooms in Sydney and this one was by far the absolute best. We completed the Inheritance room and the tech was mind blowing. We finished the room with 8 minutes to spare. We are a bit sad that’s it’s over and we can’t do it again. Shelley was an amazing host and we can’t wait to return! Highly recommend! 🙂
My group did the inheritance room and the Narrow Escape Rooms. It was so much fun! The age ranges we had were 14-33 year old. Everyone was able to participate and contribute to solving the puzzle. Highly recommend!
Lots of fun! Our group of 6 was aged between 15 and 55, with some members new to escape rooms and others veterans of them. The “Inheritance” room worked well with that combination of experience, and those in the group that had done escape rooms previously rated it as one of the better ones they had done. Highly recommended!!
The ‘Inheritance’ escape room is one of the best escape rooms we’ve tried so far. It was fun, challenging, well themed and packed with interesting puzzles. We managed to escape in time. I thoroughly recommend this room (and the ‘Undetected’ escape room – done previously) to all escape room enthusiasts. You will be amazed and have some aha moments.
I’ve done all 3 rooms here, and each one was SO fun. They provide a good challenge while not being impossible. The staff are super friendly and passionate too. Inheritance room was one of the best rooms I have ever done. Cannot recommend enough.
